     Oriundo da ilha de São Miguel, o Grupo de Cantares Belaurora, constituído totalmente por amadores, dedica um pouco do seu tempo livre à recolha, pesquisa, estudo, preparação e divulgação da Música Tradicional, propondo, com o seu trabalho, uma pequena viagem pelas nove ilhas dos Açores.

     We inherited our traditional songs from the Discoverers and Settlers of the 15 th century. From the love for the land and hardwork, the nostalgia and festivity emerges the singing of the island – the bridge that unites such sea, people and continents.

     The Grupo de Cantares Belaurora , from S. Michael's island, is totally formed by amateurs. The group spends some of its spare time searching, collecting, studying, preparing and divulging Traditional Music. With its work, the group offers you a short journey through the nine islands of The Azores.
